Cape Tribulation

Where the Rainforest meets the reef

Cape Tribulation Tours including the Daintree Rainforest.

Get ready to tick one off the bucket list. The tour heads north from Cairns to Port Douglas along one of the most impressive coastal drives in the world. Get the camera ready! The infamous road winds alongside a cliff face of lush tropical rainforest on one side and beautiful idyllic beaches and views to the Great Barrier Reef on the other. Short on time to see Cairns? Then this memorable trip is truly the best way to see and learn about the region with interesting and entertaining facts to be learnt along the way.
Be on the lookout, through the tour of the popular tourist destination, Port Douglas. Celebs such as Bill Clinton, Mick Jagger, Claudia Schiffer, Tom Hanks and John Travolta; and many lesser known Australian stars have been spotted in the palm-fringed tropical town. First stop is at Mossman Gorge Centre where you will have morning tea before boarding the shuttle bus into Mossman Gorge itself. Your knowledgeable driver will take you on a guided walk through the World Heritage listed rainforest in the Gorge – culture fix sorted! Head further north and board a boat to explore the river system, which is lined by stunning emerald green, untouched, tropical rainforest. The Daintree is one of the richest and most diverse wildlife habitats. Want to see a croc in the wild? This is the best place to do it and the expert guide’s eyes are trained to spot the sometime elusive predator. Cross the river and enjoy a BBQ lunch before feeling sand between your toes on Cape Tribulation Beach. Stop in at the Daintree Ice Cream Company for a delicious afternoon refreshment! A generous cup of 4 flavours of their exotic fruit ice cream is included- which is made from fruit grown on-site in their own orchard! See what Cairns is renowned for – where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Coral Sea at the Alexandra Range and Kulki lookouts. Reflect on the day and work out what snaps to upload on the return trip along the coastal drive back to Cairns.
