Kuranda Village, Scenic Rail and Skyrail

Want more time to explore the rainforest or love wildlife and Australia’s Indigenous culture? Then head to Rainforestation Nature Park. Explore the rainforest by land and water, without leaving the seat, onboard the Amphibious World War II Army Duck. Snap a pic with a croc or a cuddly koala and check out other iconic Australian wildlife like wombats, Tassie devils and dingoes at the koala and wildlife park. Prepare the voicebox and dance skills to join in with the Pamagirri Aboriginal dancers who’ll also share the skill and joy of playing the traditional wind instrument, the didgeridoo. Why not try out the historic food gathering method, boomerang throwing? Learn from the experts and see if it returns. Add lunch to the day to try some local bush tucker flavours or to beat those hunger pangs. Coach transfer back to Kuranda for an afternoon departure on the Skyrail.
